Dallas Trip with My Dog 🐶 | A Foodie’s Journey for the Pet Parent

We used to live not far from Dallas, so we’ve been there no less than ten times. Each visit was mostly for food, and there were very few dog-friendly spots. Here are just a few places we’ve been to! Fun Places: 🚃The free downtown trolley allows dogs. I suggest parking at the terminal, where there are plenty of spots on the street. The pick-up location is the McKinney Avenue Trolley Uptown Station. The only downside is that Texans don’t seem to follow traffic rules. We took it twice and both times, cars were parked on the tracks, forcing us to get off and walk back to the station. šŸŽ :Next to the station, there’s a dog bar. However, the sandy ground can get your dog quite dirty. I remember there’s another dog bar in Dallas with artificial turf, which is much cleaner. šŸ•ŗšŸ»Dallas has underground passages, similar to those in Houston. They’re designed to keep pedestrians cool in the summer and are quite a novelty to explore. šŸ‘€The park in the city center (search for GiantEyeball) is worth a visit, but unfortunately, dogs are not allowed inside. 🦫 Buc-ee’s: When in Texas, you can’t miss Buc-ee’s. Although dogs aren’t allowed inside, there are plenty of grassy areas for a nice walk. The food and souvenirs are worth buying, and most importantly, the restrooms are incredibly clean! #Dallas #DallasLife #DallasEats #TravelWithYourDog
