Dallas Turkish Cuisine: Cafe Istanbul ❤️
👍I visited a Turkish restaurant in Dallas with my friends. It’s located in the North Legacy West business district, which is mostly filled with restaurants and cafes. Cafe Istanbul 7300 Lone Star Dr Suite C160, Plano, TX 75024 😋The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with lots of traditional Turkish decorations that are very elegant. If you’re in a large group, you might need to make a reservation since they don’t have many long tables. Groups of four or fewer can sit at small square tables, but the spacing between tables is a bit tight. Despite this, the restaurant is very popular, with about 90% occupancy on a Friday night. Parking is convenient, right on the first floor of the parking lot, directly across from the restaurant. Recommended Dishes: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Grill Platter There are so many types of grilled meats to choose from, each with different seasonings. To try the specialties and a variety of flavors, we ordered a two-person platter with my friends. Although the menu says you can’t change the items in the platter, I spoke to the waiter and explained that my friend doesn’t eat lamb, so we swapped two of the lamb dishes for beef and shrimp. It seems that if you communicate well with the staff, they are willing to make adjustments. The chicken breast kebab was very tender and juicy, delicious! 😋The beef steak kebab was slightly less tender than what I’ve had at other Turkish restaurants, but still good. The minced meat kebabs (a mix of beef, lamb, and a combination of both) were fantastic, with a very traditional Turkish and Mediterranean flavor. Their seasoning is truly unbeatable. Each restaurant has its own slight variations, but generally, they’re all delicious. #DallasFood #DallasExploration #Food #RestaurantRecommendation
