Danbi 🌟 A Michelin-Recommended 🍸 K-Town Date Night Vibe Restaurant!!
The menu isn't super extensive, so it's best to make a reservation 📅. But we walked in on a weekday and didn't wait long. The ambiance is great—really perfect for a date! 💖 🥩 Tartare Came here specifically for this dish! (It's not Wagyu or uni rice, hehe.) It did not disappoint at all. You can order others based on preference, but this one is a MUST! Highly recommended!! Marrow that melts in your mouth + beef tartare + raw egg yolk + special sauce = absolutely divine~ 🤤 The meat is so fine, you barely feel like you're eating anything raw. Paired with crispy lotus root chips, the texture is incredible—rich but not heavy. Delicious, healthy, and beautiful! 🐚 Scallop Pancake I usually skip seafood pancakes since I've had so many, but couldn't resist after all the recommendations! And honestly, it's different from the usual. The scallops are huge, and there's less starch. Fresh out of the kitchen, it's super crispy. A squeeze of lime juice really brings out the flavor! 🍋 🥩 Zabuton American charcoal-grilled Wagyu. Not sure why, but the portion looked smaller than in online pics. They didn’t ask for preferred doneness—seemed like medium. Maybe because it was on the rarer side or due to the cut, but it was seriously tough to chew. Almost every piece had a gristly part left behind... The meat itself was tender and well-seasoned, but compared to others I've tried, it wasn't outstanding. Still, reviews are generally high—maybe it was just my experience? You can still give it a try! Have you been to Danbi? What's your go-to date night spot in K-town?
