Day 1 of Our 10-Day Road Trip from Tokyo to Kansai and Shikoku—Hamamatsu! 🌊🎢 Hamamatsu was just a random stopover we chose, and overall, it was pretty average. We probably won't be coming back again. 🌊🎢 We set off from Tokyo early in the morning and drove over 200 kilometers, with Mount Fuji looming huge in the distance the whole way. We stopped for lunch at a rest area in Shizuoka. We had originally planned to visit the Hashun-do Eel Pie Factory, but we ended up at another factory that doesn't allow tours. We didn't have time to backtrack, so we had to give up.
