🌅 Day 13: Auckland - Shopping & Dining
✅ Breakfast: The hotel breakfast was decent—simple and fresh. Good coffee to kickstart the day! ☕ 🛍️ Morning: Lululemon Black Friday Shopping We originally planned to arrive at the Ponsonby store by 9:30 a.m., but taking the bus made us a bit anxious… I kept my eyes glued to Google Maps 🗺️ the whole time! (❗️ Tip: Wave to stop the bus, press the bell to get off, and remember to tap on and off 💳) We finally entered the store around 10:00 a.m., and indeed, the selection here was much better than Queen Street’s! They even had the pink Scuba—though the color was a bit too bold 💀 Ended up buying: Align for $109 + a T-shirt for $79. Not bad! 🏬 Afternoon: Dress Smart Outlet Shopping Coach had some items 50% off, but still not as cheap as on Dewu. The only advantage is authenticity. 👜 Adidas and Nike prices were similar to China’s big sale events, but the styles were… well, hard to choose from. Spent 3 hours browsing and left empty-handed 😅 🛒 Evening: Pak’nSave Grocery Run When it comes to chocolate 🍫 and cookies 🍪, Pak’nSave is still the cheapest! 🍽️ Dinner: Amano (reserved 2 days in advance) Went for some upscale "white people food," but… Lobster pasta 🦞🍝 was too salty Steak 🥩 was just okay Overall, not really to my taste—more of a one-time experience. #NewZealandTravel #AucklandDiary #BlackFridayShopping #Lululemon #DressSmart #NZFood #TravelLog #AucklandEats
