Day 3/10: Agrigento β Ragusa | A Sicilian Dream Come True! π
Morning Magic π We woke up to the view β the exact postcard-perfect scene from our B&Bβs terrace that made us book this place! Breakfast was a 2-hour luxury: golden sunlight, endless sea vistas, and a spread so lavish we forgot to photograph half of it. (No regrets. π½οΈπ) Turkish Steps: A Bittersweet Stop ποΈ Revisited MalΓ¨naβs nostalgia at the Scala dei Turchi, but this yearβs rules kept us from climbing its pearly cliffs. Still, a mandatory photo op! πΈ The Drive: Not for the Faint of Heart! Ragusa greeted us with free coastal highways (hello, turquoise views! π) followed by heart-pumping mountain roads β a manual transmissionβs nightmare (or thrill!). Switchback after switchback, we finally understood those "uphill" warnings! Ragusa Ibla: Love at First Sight π Our luck held: B&B No. 122 was steps away from the iconic No. 115 photo spot (that postcard view!). Cobblestone alleys, hidden staircases, and Baroque churches appeared like a dream β no map needed. The town wanted us to discover its beauty. β¨ Foodie Heaven ππ Octopus pizza at a random trattoria near the cathedral: THE BEST PIZZA OF MY LIFE. Fight me. π The medieval cellar ambiance? Icing on the cake. π° Pro Tip βοΈ Let Iblaβs streets guide you. Every turn reveals a new "wow" β and yes, those uphill walks burn enough calories for extra cannoli. π° #SicilyRoadTrip #BaroqueBeauty #ManualTransmissionSurvivor
