Cycling in Sicily, an Ancient Town Nestled in the Mountains: Ragusa 🚴

The location is Palazzolo Acreide in Sicily, a charming small town at 700m elevation ☕. The morning here is so peaceful, I couldn’t resist stopping for coffee (and maybe some Wi-Fi 😉). An elderly man was super curious about my bike and started taking photos 📸—so I joined in with a little pose! The café owner was super friendly, and a kind local helped me order in English, making the morning even better 😊. After a tough climb to 600m, I descended to the stunning Ragusa, nestled in a valley at 300m 🏞️. This ancient town, once destroyed by an earthquake, now stands proudly between two mountains—rebuilt with history and charm ❤️. Now I get it—I don’t hate climbing hills, I just don’t love it when there’s no reward at the top! But Ragusa and Palazzolo Acreide?
