Day 6 in the U.S.|Los Angeles is Simply Beautiful

I arrived in LA late last night, and already I’m captivated by its rhythm. This city invites you to slow down and savor—just don’t forget the sunscreen! ☀️ 1️⃣ The Getty Center While the art collection inside didn’t entirely wow me, the surroundings were breathtaking. Perched high above the city, the Getty offers sweeping views of Los Angeles—a gorgeous mix of urban sprawl, distant mountains, and ocean haze. It’s worth visiting for the architecture, gardens, and panorama alone. 🌿🏛️ 2️⃣ Santa Monica I’m told sunset here is absolutely magical—and I believe it. After seeing countless coastlines back home, the horizon here feels uniquely framed by the Santa Monica skyline. Under the bright California sun, the sky and ocean glow in vivid, unreal shades of blue. 🌊💙 We grabbed a casual lunch right by the entrance—simple, fresh, and satisfying. 3️⃣ Beverly Hills A drive through the quiet, palm-lined streets of Beverly Hills feels like stepping into another world. The homes here are grand, elegant, and often hidden behind lush greenery—a fascinating glimpse into LA’s upscale side. 🏡✨ 4️⃣ Hollywood & the Walk of Fame The drive from Beverly Hills to Hollywood was its own experience. LA’s streets are alive with larger-than-life billboards and murals—each one bold, artistic, and poster-worthy. And there it was—the iconic Hollywood Sign, watching over the city from the hills. The Walk of Fame itself is touristy, yes, but full of nostalgic charm. 5️⃣ The Original Farmers Market & The Grove We stopped at the Farmers Market for a bite—tried the well-known Brazilian barbecue, which was solid but not mind-blowing. 🍖 Then, just next door, The Grove—a beautifully designed outdoor shopping center already dressed in holiday decor (Christmas is in the air! 🎄). I picked up some headphones from the Apple store here. FYI: LA has about a 10% sales tax, so prices end up similar to those back home. Still, the festive lights, lively atmosphere, and pretty layout made it a delightful visit. #LosAngeles #TravelDiary #SantaMonica #BeverlyHills #Hollywood #TheGrove #GettyCenter #CaliforniaVibes #SlowTravel #CityExploration
