Day One in Nara: The Most Impressive Todai-ji Temple and More (4)🌟
As for the deer in Nara, they are the protectors and the true masters of the city, strolling around leisurely and can be seen everywhere. 🌿🦌 🍃🌸 Kofuku-ji Temple: There's only the Central Golden Hall worth seeing. This was the first temple built when Nara became the capital, a temple of the Fujiwara clan. Kofuku-ji was established earlier, but its relocation to Nara was delayed because its patrons, the Soga clan, were defeated by the Fujiwara. The five-storied pagoda next to it is completely enclosed for restoration. 🏯 🍃🌸 The museum was closed. Today I felt the pinch of the entrance fees, ranging from 500 to 1200 yen per temple. 🍃🌸Nara is a World Heritage Site, known as the "Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara." #Nara #WorldHeritageSite #TodaijiTemple 🌇🌟
