Discovered this stunning hidden gem by the sea yesterday—perfect for a quick escape! 🚗 Getting There Direct train from London Charing Cross (1.5–2 hrs, £20–30 round trip). 🏖️ Hastings Seafront First stop: the pebble beach (not sandy, so skip the flip-flops!). Views were still gorgeous—crashing waves and wide skies. 🍟 Lunch at Blue Dolphin Fish Bar Tried the classic fish & chips—solid choice! 🐟 P.S. Ice cream shops everywhere—grab one for an afternoon treat! ⛰️ Missed Out: West Hill Lift The cliff railway was closed for maintenance 😢—would’ve offered epic town + sea views from the top. Next time! 🎁 High Street Stroll Loved the Italian-esque vibe! Quirky indie shops selling handmade crafts, pottery, and local art—great for souvenirs. 🚆 Heading Back Arrived at noon, left around 4–5 pm (plenty of return trains). Sunset tip: Stay longer if you can—golden hour here is magical! Verdict: Highly recommend!
