After reading mixed reviews online, I decided to skip the grilled meats and try more diverse dishes! (โโฬดฬแดโฬดฬโ) โจ ๐ฅฃ Brussels sprouts - Unique preparation with super sweet grapes! The aromatic dish was so good we cleaned the plate. ๐๐ฅ EmptyPlateClub ๐ฅฃ Duck shawarma - The duck masterpiece of my life (might be biased since it was our first dish, but SO GOOD!) ๐ฆ๐ ๐ฅฃ Pic 1: Blue fin tuna naye with spicy sauce - Decent but not outstanding. ๐๐ถ๏ธ JustOkay ๐ฅฃ Pic 2: Day boat scallops - Solid choice! Scallops never disappoint. ๐ฅ๐ฏ SafeBet ๐ฅฃ Pic 3: Halibut - The surprise star! Never saw this on food blogs, but the creamy sauce with squash (or zucchini?) was magical. ๐ โจ HiddenGem ๐ฅฃ Pic 4: Bone marrow + steak tartare - Too rich for me. Not as good as Blue Duck Tavern's version. ๐ฆดโ SkipIt ๐ฎ Mixed baklava - Beautiful presentation but too sweet for Asian tastebuds. Could only eat 2/6 pieces. ๐ฏ๐ SugarRush ๐ฎ Mouhalabiyeh - Perfectly balanced milk pudding with pistachios & orange zest. Highly recommend! ๐ฅ๐ฐ NotTooSweet ๐ฎ Ice cream - They had black sesame flavor! Surprisingly good. ๐จ๐ค UnexpectedFind ๐ธ Cocktails: "Thyme After Time" and "It's a Date" - Both delightful sweet options. ๐น๐ LiquidDessert #DMV #DMVFoodFinds #DMVEats #DMVFoodie #DC #DCFoodScene #DCFoodAdventure
