DC Retro Restaurant Like the One from "Chef"
đ˝ď¸â¨I haven't seen the movie "Chef," but this restaurant seems to be inspired by it. Right now, they only have the main menu, but the waiter said the "Chef" menu might make a comeback in the future. đ˝ď¸â¨When I visited at lunchtime, there weren't many peopleâmostly office workers from nearby. The lunch set meal is $30, but the steak was just okay, nothing special (though the included mint ice cream dessert was pretty good). đ˝ď¸â¨Friends, it's better to order the signature dishes Ă la carte: rimp and grits is amazing. The pesto is perfectly blended with the grits, shrimp, and sausage. Every bite is so flavorful. Crispy cauliflower is a must-order! The exterior is super crispy, and the Korean chili sauce gives it a fried chicken-like texture. Deviled eggs come in two flavors: pickled green tomato and bacon jam. The pickled green tomato is milder, while the bacon jam is richer but a bit greasy. đ SUCCOTASH #dc #dcfood #washingtondcfoodie #chefmovie
