DC Spot Check | Presidential French Cuisine Le Diplomate 🍽️

While wandering around DC, I checked out this famous French restaurant. Since I wasn't very hungry, I just ordered a few items for brunch: escargot, foie gras, and the dessert Profiterole. ✨ I went specifically for the Profiterole , and it was definitely worth it! Hot chocolate sauce drizzled over crispy profiteroles, paired with vanilla ice cream and banana slices – the combination of textures was amazing! 🍫 ✨ The foie gras on bread was also delicious. All three types of pre-meal bread they offer are great. The foie gras is topped with sweet red wine jelly, and the foie gras paste is very smooth. 🍖 ✨ The escargot was nice too – tender and flavorful, perfect for spreading on bread. 🐌 The food and ambiance are both excellent, and I'll definitely be back. But the service was a bit lacking – it could definitely be better.
