Delicious but Pricey Brunch in Bellevue
🌙Eques, Bellevue is located on the second floor of the Hyatt hotel. Just walk in and look up to spot the restaurant! I highly recommend the Crab Benedict, it’s super delicious with generous amounts of real crab meat, mixed into the crispy, crunchy bread. The sauce is rich but not cloying. At $32, I think it’s worth it. 🌙Also, the Duck Waffle is amazing too. The waffle is crispy on the outside and soft inside, topped with a whole duck leg. The duck leg is flavorful without the gamey taste, and the sauce on top is absolutely incredible, very creamy. The sweet and savory combination really hits the spot! 🌙The Tiramisu Pancake, which everyone recommends, was a bit of a letdown for me. Firstly, the value for $21 for six pancakes is not great, and it didn’t have much of a distinctive tiramisu flavor. By the end, the pancakes were too dry to enjoy, and I’d be happier spending a third of the price on a genuine tiramisu cake. 🌙Overall, it’s a place worth trying once, but I wouldn’t frequent it due to the low value for money. It doesn’t compare to Farine, which I recommended earlier. We spent over $100 for two people and brought back three pancakes we just couldn’t finish.
