Delicious Eats in Seattle Downtown!

✅ 🍮 Nana’s Green Tea Nana’s Green Tea, you truly live up to the hype! As a matcha lover, I’ve been eyeing matcha dessert spots since arriving in Seattle. I ordered the matcha parfait, matcha latte, and matcha cream puff—and not a single disappointment! The latte was rich and deeply aromatic. The parfait had layers of matcha pudding, crunchy cereal, chewy mochi, and sweet red beans—all my favorites! Matcha and red bean truly are the ultimate combo 😭✨. The puff’s shell was a bit thick, but the matcha cream inside was delicious. ✅ 🍱 RENDO I stumbled upon RENDO during a city walk—the vibe drew me right in! The place has an izakaya feel, super cozy and perfect for photo ops with collectibles. Next time, I’ll bring my little figurines for a shoot 📸. I tried the curry rice and spicy tantan ramen—both were amazing! The curry rice came with a kick of chili oil and spicy onions (or radish?) that really elevated the dish. The pork cutlet was crispy outside, juicy inside. Mixed with rice, it was a flavorful combo of savory curry, spicy notes, and meaty goodness. The tantan ramen was simple but far from ordinary—spicy minced meat and chewy noodles were so satisfying. Definitely a repeat spot! Can’t wait to try their cream udon next time 🍜. ✅ 🍛 Kobuta & Ookami This might be the most popular spot in Capitol Hill—we arrived 10+ minutes before its 5 PM opening and there was already a line! Their signature is the sizzling pork cutlet sukiyaki hot pot, but I went for the classic pork cutlet rice bowl. Loved the shredded cabbage with tangy dressing—crisp and refreshing! I opted for a fattier cut of pork, which kept it tender and juicy. The interior decor is also super cute and great for photos—the little bar area is so chill! But yeah… the wait is no joke 😅. ✅ 🧀 LOLA – Greek-Mediterranean Brunch A well-known brunch spot on social platforms, offering a break from classic American heavy plates. A friend highly recommended their eggs Benedict. This time, I tried the octopus dish (a popular pick online), but… it was way too salty 😫. My friend’s shakshuka was also overly salty. The presentation was nice, but the dim lighting and gloomy weather didn’t help for photos. Maybe if I’m super hungry and nearby someday, I’ll give their eggs Benedict a try… #UW #Seattle #SeattleFood #SeattleEats #SeattleDesserts #SeattleTravel #SeattleLife #UWEats #FoodNearUW #UniversityOfWashington
