I’m super picky when it comes to food — sensitive taste buds, and my dream is to eat my way around the world. After moving from New Zealand to California, I’ve been on the hunt for amazing bakeries. I stumbled upon Baobao Bread and decided to give it a try — and now, it’s about to see me through the New Year! The owner insists on high-quality ingredients and low-sugar, healthy baking, so I feel good giving it to my kids too. I’ve tried other private bakers, but I always come back to Baobao Bread.🤣👍 My Favorites: 1️⃣ Cheese Bread — Original & Seaweed Pork Floss👌😍 The original is rich, creamy, and melts in your mouth like ice cream — haven’t had cheese bread this good in ages! The seaweed pork floss version balances salty and sweet — perfect with morning coffee. 2️⃣ Matcha Lava Toast I always buy an extra one to slice and freeze. The matcha flavor is so comforting — not too sweet, with a slight bitterness that blends perfectly with the white cream. Just thinking about it makes me happy — good food really lifts your mood! 3️⃣ Pretzel Buns — Sesame Mochi filling is my go-to. I love steaming them — the filling gets extra soft and fluffy, and the pretzel crust softens just right. Recently tried their Chocolate Dream Loaf — rich, smooth chocolate paste that’s indulgent but not overly sweet.👍😍 As a pregnant woman, it’s my perfect little treat.❤️😁 Good ingredients never leave you feeling heavy.
