Delicious Spicy Mala Tang in Charlotte, NC

🍐🎼I stumbled upon this spot on Xiaohongshu this week. Honestly, when I first saw the restaurant name, I thought it was a dedicated sushi place.🙉 It’s been ages since I had a proper mala tang after moving to Charlotte, so I couldn’t resist squeezing in a lunch visit this weekend—and it turned out to be a nice surprise.🌷🌷 🏪 Restaurant Ambiance The place is quite spacious, with a steady flow of diners but never overcrowded. 🍀 It’s super clean, and there’s a self-ordering kiosk right by the entrance—total lifesaver for introverts.🍎🍎 🥢 Ordering Style🍓 Just like mala tang spots back home, you grab a basket and pick all your favorite ingredients, then choose to have them in a spicy mala broth or a dry pot stir-fry.👀 The final bill is calculated by weight. 💞💞 💓The ingredient selection is extensive, and everything looks really fresh. 🍲 Taste Review We went for the tomato broth and the mild-spicy mala broth. 💗 The mala broth was a bit light (probably because we opted for mild spice), while the tomato broth was rich and full-flavored—way more delicious.💜💜 The fried dough sticks and fried chicken were absolute standouts—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. 🍜 🍏Dipping the fried dough sticks into the tomato broth? Chef’s kiss. Besides mala tang and tomato hot pot, they also serve dry pots, sushi, and milk tea—plenty of options on the menu.🍣 🌽 I’m definitely coming back to try their dry pot next time. 💰 Price Point🍩 Two of us ate for a little over $60 total. There’s a parking lot right outside the restaurant, so no stress about finding a spot. After your meal, you can even pop over to the nearby outlet mall for a browse.🍭 All in all, this spot is perfect for satisfying that sudden mala tang craving. 🥞 🎂For Charlotte, NC, having a mala tang place this good is a total gem If you’re curious, go give it a try 📍 Restaurant Info Name: Sushi Naru Pho Address: 8943 S Tryon St A, Charlotte, NC 28273 Hours: Mon–Sat 10:30 AM – 9:30 PM #MalaTang #InternationalStudentEats #HomeStyleChineseFood #StudentFoodAdventure #CharlotteNCFood
