Delicious to the point of being unforgettable.

**Giannino In San Lorenzo** Established in the early 20th century, Giannino In San Lorenzo initially started as a roasting shop and now specializes in traditional Tuscan recipes and central Italian cuisine.😻😻😻 The restaurant is located on the bustling and historic Borgo San Lorenzo street, adjacent to the San Lorenzo Church. It is just a 2-minute walk from the Florence Cathedral (Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore).❤️❤️❤️ Built in the 16th century, the restaurant is an ancient open-air gallery that once served as a small marketplace.🥩🥩🥩 Both the ambiance and service at Giannino In San Lorenzo are truly exceptional. The waitstaff attentively monitor the guests' dining progress. On the evening we visited, the restaurant was fully booked. We highly recommend trying their truffle cream ravioli: The flavors of truffle and cheese are subtle, while the creamy sauce (reminiscent of a mushroom sauce) is rich but not overwhelming. The filling is a delicious mashed potato. This dish completely changed my perception of Italian ravioli! The clams pasta is another must-try: The portion is generous. The fresh clams have no fishy taste, and the pasta perfectly absorbs the clams' natural sweetness. The cherry tomatoes are fresh and crisp. Additionally, the Florentine steak is a must-order: The steak is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. As soon as you take a bite, your salivary glands start producing saliva, which mixes with the meat juices. It's truly delicious!😍😍😍 ❕If dining for two, we suggest ordering the smaller portion of steak to avoid waste. P/S: This was the most expensive meal of our trip. Dinner for two (+ 10% service charge) 🔸 Clams pasta €18+/per serving (~ SGD26.18/ RM88.37/ RMB136.48) 🔸 Florentine steak, 1.2kg €90+/per serving (~ SGD130.92/ RM441.86/ RMB682.24) 🔸 Truffle cream ravioli €15+/per serving (~ SGD21.82/ RM73.64/ RMB113.71) 🔸 Red wine, 2 glasses €7+/per glass (~ SGD20.37/ RM68.73/ RMB106.13) 🔁 Exchange rate: €1 = SGD1.45/ RM4.91/ RMB7.58 #ClamsPasta #Steak #FlorentineSteak #FlorenceCuisine #Florence #Italy #ItalianCuisine #ItalyTravel #HiddenGemRestaurant #RomanticLifestyle
