Giannino in San Lorenzo — Restaurant in Florence

We had pizzas and some fries with some water. The fries was socky and some of them still raw in the middle. The pizzas where fine, we would give them 3 out of 5. But the service was shockingly terrible, probably the worst service i have ever seen in my life. There was primarily only one waiter, and he was running around throwing dishes and glasses on peoples tables without any service. He was really stressed and he showed it to everyone by running and looking everywhere else than at the people he were "giving service to". He also didn't check up on ud, probably because we had a cheap and small order and he therefore didn't care about our table - that was definitly the vibe he was giving us. He also forgot to bring our water until we had received our meal. He also throw our receipt to us and to the guy at the table next to us - he actually threw them. So all in all 1 out of 5. 3 for the pizza, 0-1 for the fries (mainly because the portion was extremely small also for the price of 5 euros) and 0 out of 5 for the service. I would almost go so far as to say that the service was below 0, because he was not paying any attention to us even when her was talking to us and taking our order. I also had to repeat my pizza because he didn't listened the first time.

I usually never write reviews, but I cannot leave today's experience uncommented. As several other users have pointed out, the service is really slow. We didn't really mind (the location is nice), but the couple on the table next to us left after the waiter still hadn't taken their orders after approximately 15 minutes. Food was OK, two dishes were good, one was average, one was below average. When we were done, I wanted to pay with a large banknote and so I asked the waiter if this would be a problem. He said that it should be OK and disappeared. A couple of minutes later, the manager (? - short-haired, blond guy in his mid-thirties) came out and put the banknote back onto our table and said so that at least 10 people could hear it: "I cannot accept this banknote, because I don't know if it is fake." Then he left. We were perplexed, I had never experienced anything comparably rude at a restaurant. If he says "I am sorry, but the policy of our restaurant doesn't allow us to accept banknotes larger than x", everybody will understand, but to insinuate that we were uttering counterfeit money in front of the whole restaurant is completely unacceptable. We then paid with credit card and will obviously never go back...

An Unforgettable Dinner in Florence! Recently, my friends and I gathered in Florence from different countries like Denmark, Spain, and Albania, and had the pleasure of dining at an extraordinary restaurant that will remain in our memories for a long time.

From the moment we walked in, we felt a warm and sincere welcome. The staff was very kind and extremely respectful, making our experience even more special.

The food was simply fantastic! Every dish was prepared with great care and taste. We could feel the love and dedication in every bite. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything was perfect. We tried several traditional Italian specialties and each one was a marvel on its own.

A special mention goes to our waitress, who was an amazing person! Her service was impeccable, and she was always ready to assist us with any request we had. Additionally, she gave us wonderful menu suggestions and made us feel right at home.

If you are planning a visit to Florence, I highly recommend this restaurant. Besides the delicious food, the excellent service and warm hospitality will make you feel welcomed and satisfied. I can't wait to...
