Dha Rae Oak--Korean-style roasted duck in LA ktown
—————— 🍴Dha Rae Oak🦆 🔆Dish Review: 🦆 Smoked Duck At a price of $125 per plate, it's not cheap. The duck meat is of good quality, with no fishy taste. The duck is pan-fried to a sizzling texture, and the skin is slightly charred, which is the most fragrant. 🤩 Eating the duck meat without sauce preserves its original flavor, which is quite good. Dipping it in sauce offers a unique experience, with a Korean savory spicy/sweet and sour taste. It also comes with honey mustard. Although it's called smoked duck, it doesn't have the American-style smoky flavor; it's more about appreciating the inherent taste of the duck meat. Served with a vegetable salad, it helps to cut through the richness. 🥗 🍚 Kimchi Fried Rice Served in a large pot, it may seem ordinary at first glance, but the key is that it's stir-fried with duck fat, which is incredibly fragrant! ‼️ It's also made with purple rice, and this is the first time I've had duck fat kimchi fried rice. It's incredibly delicious! Very oily, but incredibly flavorful! The duck meat meets expectations, but this fried rice exceeds expectations! 🌟 Highly recommended. Overall, this restaurant is a down-to-earth place specializing in duck dishes in a Korean BBQ style. It's not cheap, and the cost-performance ratio is average, but the taste is good! Very oily and fragrant! It's a place I would come back to. ‼️ Next time, I want to try their boiled duck. 🤔 This restaurant is located next to Cafe de Mama. After eating, getting an iced drink is perfect. 📍Address: 1106 S Western Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90006, United States —————— #Los Angeles#Dha Rae Oak#Los Angeles food #food diary
