📍 KA’TEEN A vibrant Mexican restaurant near Hollywood with a killer playlist and jungle-inspired decor that makes you feel like you’re in South America. Perfect for friend gatherings or a romantic date! 🌿🎶 The flavors here are exciting yet well-balanced—not too heavy, and portions are huge! We tried the Dine LA prix-fixe menu ($65), which came to around $90 with tax and tip. Appetizers: 🐟 Ceviche-style fish salad – I usually avoid raw fish, but the marinade and fresh herbs made it bright and tasty, not fishy at all! 🌮 Tostada with mixed seafood tartare & avocado – A MUST ORDER! So fresh and flavorful. (We skipped the oysters, but heard good things!) Second Course: 🥗 Veggie salad was fine, but the spinach & egg enchilada was incredible—huge, with a creamy tortilla and tangy sauce, paired with roasted squash. A delicious surprise! Mains: 🦀 Crab enchilada – tasty but a bit salty. 🥩 Steak – uniquely seasoned with a tangy, slightly spicy, smoky glaze. So addictive! 🌶️ Warning: the green chili on the side is extremely spicy—handle with care! Dessert: 🍩 Classic churros with chocolate mousse – the chocolate leaned dark, not overly sweet. Sadly, we were too full to finish it! An unforgettable meal with bold flavors, generous portions, and truly immersive vibes.
