Dine LA Restaurant Week Review – Connie and Ted's 🍽️✨
Another weekday lunch escape while my older kid’s at daycare—just me and the little one! With so many Dine LA options, we filtered by Michelin-recognized spots, and choices on the Westside were slim. Fia only offers weekend lunch, so we headed to Connie and Ted’s in WeHo! This is a New England-style seafood restaurant, and their Dine LA lunch menu is $35 per person for three courses: appetizer, main, and dessert. 🦪 The oysters were fresh and crisp, and the crudo of the day (fish varies daily) was delicious—especially the sauce! My husband loved the subtle seasoning of the fish sandwich, saying it let the fish shine, though I wished for a bit more flavor. The burger was decent—not mind-blowing, but generously portioned with a hefty patty (the bun was almost too much!). Dessert was a chocolate cookie sprinkled with sea salt—simple but tasty, and hey, I’ve never ordered just a cookie at a restaurant before! 😄 Overall, I’d give it a 7.5/10. Nothing wow-ed us, but it was a solid meal. Maybe my expectations were too high because of its Michelin mention? Still, a pleasant lunch in a cozy, nautical-themed space with friendly service. Next week, more Dine LA exploring!
