For my first dine-in experience in Charlotte, I chose BLT Steakhouse located in Uptown. The ambiance is classy, and the service was warm and welcoming. Here’s a breakdown of what we tried: 🍞 Popover A must-try — especially while it’s hot! ✨ Fresh out of the oven, it’s crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, with a rich eggy flavor. It even comes with a cute little recipe card — but don’t wait too long to eat it (like I did for photos 😅) or it loses its magic! 🐟 Tuna Tartare Layers of fresh tuna and avocado — best enjoyed with the sauce at the bottom. You can eat it straight or spread on crispy potato chips. But honestly… the tuna was a bit fishy 🎣, and the chips overpowered the delicate flavors. Not my favorite. ❌ 🥗 Caesar Salad A classic side to balance out all that steak goodness. Can’t go wrong here! 😉 🥩 Filet Mignon (Medium Rare) So tender and juicy — cooked perfectly! Definitely recommend. 👌 🥩 Ribeye Solid cut, well-prepared — no complaints from the steak lovers! 🍮 Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake Okay… this was a sugar overload 🚨 The top was a hard sugar shell, and the sauce was intensely sweet caramel. If you have a major sweet tooth, maybe. Otherwise, proceed with caution! 😵 💵 Price: Around $80 per person 📍 Address: 110 N College St, Charlotte, NC 28202 Final Take: Great popovers and steaks, but the sides and desserts didn’t quite hit the mark.
