Azuma Sushi & Teppan Hey foodies! 👋 Tonight’s dinner adventure took us to one of Albuquerque’s most popular Japanese restaurants – and oh boy, was it an experience! 🍣🔥 We didn’t make a reservation (oops! 😅), so we couldn’t snag a seat at the teppanyaki grills – which are clearly THE place to be! The waiting area was packed with people, mostly families and groups of friends, all excitedly waiting for a spot around the sizzling grills. Americans absolutely LOVE those fiery moments when the chefs light up the grill and put on a show! 🎆 Every time flames shot up, the whole room went “WOOOAH!!!” 😲🔥 It was like a dinner and a show all in one! Even though we missed the teppanyaki action, we still had a fantastic meal. The menu is full of classic Japanese favorites – from fresh sashimi 🍣 to hearty teriyaki bowls 🍚 and perfectly seared teppan meats. 🥩 We tried: Rainbow Roll 🌈 – fresh, beautifully presented, and tasted as good as it looked! Beef Teppanyaki – tender, flavorful, and served with a generous portion of veggies 🥦🥕 Spicy Tuna Roll 🌶️ – just the right kick! Miso Soup 🍲 – warm, comforting, and perfectly seasoned And guess what? The total came out to just $120 for two people! 💰➕ a $24 tip 💵 because the service was friendly and attentive despite the crowd. If you’re visiting Albuquerque and craving Japanese food, Azuma is definitely worth a visit!
