Discovered Irvine’s Super Popular Izakaya – Kappo Honda! 🏮✨
Kappo Honda is a true hidden gem for late-night bites and drinks with friends! 🍶 Even at 11 PM, it’s still buzzing—and they’re open until midnight every day. Their menu is incredibly diverse, featuring tempura, sushi, yakitori, main courses, and desserts—something for everyone! 🍣🍢🎌 The sashimi is delicious! For yakitori, I loved the beef tongue, chicken with scallions, chicken gizzard, and the spicy chicken skin—so flavorful! 🔥 The chawanmushi (steamed egg) and fried rice were also amazing 😋 We ordered the mixed tempura, though I personally prefer the one inside Mitsuwa market. Since it was our first time, we didn’t try everything—but next time, I’d love to order more! The yaki udon at the next table looked fantastic too! 🍜 They recently launched a new item: Hokkaido ice cream cake roll—so good! 🍰 The red bean soup is very sweet, though—choose carefully! 🫘 Have you been to a late-night izakaya that made you want to try everything on the menu?
