Ditch the Landmarks | Going š to Nuuksio Park for Hiking
š© Nuuksio Forest National Park Initially, I planned to spend only 2 hours, but ended up lingering for 4 hours, walking, stopping, and observing. After getting off and heading up the mountain on the right, you can see wild blueberries and various mushrooms; some are really beautiful! Blueberries are probably out of season now, very small and quite sour. There's also a moose park, but it's only open on weekends, so I missed it this time. I thought it would be cooler in the forest, but it was comfortable wearing a short-sleeve the whole time, not cold at all!! It seems like you can also camp here šļø, and by the lake, there are rooms with lake views! I'm not sure about the restaurants here, but I feel like bringing sandwiches or similar would be more convenient. Depending on the season, there are different trails to follow, and in the forest, you'll see various color patches indicating the direction of the trails. š Transportation First, take the U-line from Helsinki Railway Station to Espoo, then transfer to bus 245A and get off at HALTIA. To the left is the lake, and to the right is the mountain. In that brown building, you can rest and get water. #Finland #FinlandTravel #Helsinki #HelsinkiTravelGuide #NuuksioNationalPark #Nuuksio #DayTripsFromHelsinki #Helsinki
