DMV’s Hidden Gem: Nha Trang Vietnamese Clay Pot Rice 🍲
Eden Center really has some gems❗️ I didn’t have high expectations, and after navigating through the maze of shops, I found the place. The taste was unexpectedly delicious 😋 1️⃣ Cơm Tay Cầm Bò Lúc Lắc Highly recommended!! The sauce on the beef complements the oily fragrance of the rice perfectly. The combination is absolutely delicious. Topped with onion rings, it adds a unique flavor and freshness to cut through the richness. I could finish a lot of it in one go. You can also drizzle the accompanying chili sauce for an extra kick of flavor. I think it’s even better! However, I’m not sure if it’s because of takeout, but there seems to be no crust at the bottom of the pot. 2️⃣ Mì Quảng This one is also good. The broth is flavorful, and the pork ribs are tender and well-cooked without being dry. The texture is great. The crushed peanuts add a super aromatic flavor. 🦐 is also good. The only downside might be that the noodles don’t absorb the juice as much. It would be even better if it were replaced with pho rice noodles. 3️⃣ Nem Nuphong Cuẩn Ninh Hòa Delicious! The skin is soft, glutinous, and elastic. One bite, and the mix of meat and vegetables is just right, offering a rich texture. Dipped in the accompanying sweet sauce and chili, it’s super satisfying. Overall, the portions are quite generous. Two people can eat until they’re full and still have some left over. Highly recommended! #DMVFood #DMVRestaurantHunting #WashingtonDCFood #ClayPotRice #WhatToEatInDMV
