Find Things to DoFind The Best Restaurants

DMV Foodie Spot | 2941 Restaurant, You Never Disappoint!

📍 2941 Restaurant With a family dinner of 10 people, I finally got to try almost everything on the menu! Although French cuisine can be quite an ordeal 😂—we spent nearly four hours dining—it was worth every minute! The drinks were excellent, the dishes were delicious, and the little desserts were a delightful touch. 💰 Great value for money at $120 per person (including drinks, service charge, and after-tax). You won't find such prices in the city, but the ambiance and service are just as good as any urban restaurant. 🥗 **Appetizers:** 🔴 **Must-Try:** - Wagyu Tartare / Oysters / Tuna Tartare All the raw dishes were incredibly fresh and well-seasoned, perfectly highlighting the natural flavors of the ingredients. ⚫️ **Not Recommended:** - Caesar Salad / Fried Squid These were quite ordinary. The fried squid was a bit off, with a heavy and soggy batter. 🍽️ **Main Courses:** (No blacklisted items here—everything was delicious!) 🔴 **Must-Try:** 1️⃣ Morel Mushroom Halibut The fish was perfectly seared, tender on the inside with a crispy exterior. The combination of the fish's freshness and the morel mushrooms was divine! Easily my top pick. 2️⃣ Lobster Pasta A favorite among our group. The lobster was generous, and the squid ink sauce was perfectly balanced, enhancing the flavors without overpowering. 3️⃣ Pan-Seared Lamb with Lamb Sausage The lamb was flavorful without being gamey, and the texture was tender. 4️⃣ Ribeye Tomato-seasoned ribeye! Surprisingly creative and not at all cheap-feeling. The steak was of high quality, and even the medium-done steak for the seniors was not dry at all. 5️⃣ Sea Bass For some reason, it tasted more like cod to me. 🍮 **Desserts:** 🔴 **Must-Try:** Raspberry Sorbet + Coconut Mango My absolute favorite! The sorbet was tangy and refreshing, while the "pudding ring" of coconut and mango was super creamy and fruity, without being overly sweet. With such a standout dessert, other options like pistachio tart and gelato seemed less impressive—though they were still delicious! 💕 Highly recommended for family and friend gatherings! 🥰 Follow me for more food exploration, shopping tips, and travel guides. 🤣 #Washington
