Don’t Miss This Design Hotel in LA 🌿🪵✨

I was in LA for a work trip and found out that 1 Hotel West Hollywood wasn’t too expensive—so I booked it without hesitation. I’d heard about this hotel for a long time and finally got the chance to stay. 🌿 The plant-covered facade and wooden entrance door give off a strong design vibe even before you step inside. Once you’re in, the blend of raw wood, natural stone, and lush greenery screams California style. From the spacious common areas down to the linen furniture, handmade pottery, and dried floral arrangements on every floor—you can feel the tasteful touch everywhere. 🤎 The room itself is quite spacious—more than enough for me alone, and comfortable for two as well. The design and decor are thoughtful, and they even provide slippers 😂… which is rare at US hotels—so touching 🥹 🩵 The second-floor pool is also beautiful—perfect for sunbathing, reading, or even working. Sadly, I was in a rush and didn’t get to enjoy it. 🕺 The guests here are interesting too—models, designers, vloggers editing videos in the common area… 🧚♀️ On my first day, while waiting for my takeout in the lobby, I saw a stunning woman in a sparkling dress who instantly caught my eye. She was taking selfies on the sofa, so I gathered the courage to ask if she wanted me to take photos for her. She happily agreed and pulled out a DSLR from her bag… She struck poses effortlessly, and I shot photos of her all around the lobby. We chatted while shooting and discovered we both work in tech, have mutual friends, and she models part-time. We followed each other on IG, and the next day she posted the photos I took in her stories (but didn’t credit me, hmph 😂). It’s moments like these that make LA feel so magical. 😕 A couple of downsides: the room is pretty dark… too atmospheric, to the point where I could barely keep my eyes open after returning each night. Also, soundproofing isn’t great—I could clearly hear music from next door.
