Don’t Miss This Tapas Bar in Seville!

Landed in Spain at 7:30 PM, starving and discovered that most restaurants weren’t even open yet 😅 After checking in, I randomly picked a place on Google with decent ratings. I mainly wanted to eat octopus with potatoes (Pulpo a la Gallega 🥔) Ordered a glass of sangria 🍷 I was also eyeing the Iberian roasted pork (it looked so tempting) But the server informed me that it was sold out 🥹 He asked for my meat preference for a recommendation. I said pork, and he nodded and left. He first brought my drink and bread, and then the pork he recommended was served. It was super delicious 😂😂 I was healed from the trauma of British pork. Went back for more after visiting the palace the next day! Also tried the sparkling water and chicken meatballs ⭐️ The food is genuinely good. I only found out from ChatGPT today that this little shop is actually a century-old establishment, established in 1850. It seems no one has posted about it yet. So many posts recommend the two most touristy places, so I’m sharing this with everyone. The server guy even recognized me the next day, patted my shoulder, and arranged a table for me. The lady looked a bit fierce but chatted with me too. It was a cold, rainy day, but it warmed my heart. ❌ Cons: The place is mostly locals, it’s small, the servers are busy, and they don’t speak much English. The lady saw me eating at a table on the street and asked if I wanted to go inside as there was a free table. I said no need, and she hugged herself, shivering, and asked if I wasn’t cold. Me: Very comfortable, don’t worry haha (Turns out you can communicate with gestures even if you don’t speak Spanish.) I suggest checking the menu on Google first or just show them pictures when ordering. (It’s right next to the cathedral) 💶 Average cost: 10-20 #ExperienceForeignCuisineTogether #IrresistibleExoticFoods #Seville #SevilleFood #SevilleTravelGuide #Spain #SpainTravel #SpanishFood #tapas
