As a result, visitors who came at the end of March could only see bare branches. 🌿 In early April, although the cherry blossoms finally bloomed, it coincided with the rainy season. 🍃🌸 It was either raining or overcast almost every day. 🌧️🚶‍♀️ On the rare sunny Saturday, the major cherry blossom spots in Tokyo and Kyoto were immediately swarmed by tourists from all over the world. It felt like an international coalition of 800 nations had come to see the blossoms! 🍃🌸 Yesterday, I went to Ueno for a meal, and it took much longer to walk around than usual. 🌧️🚶‍♀️ 🌧️🚶‍♀️However, I avoided the crowds and completed my hanami (cherry blossom viewing) in Kanazawa this year. 🍃🌸Fewer people and more beautiful flowers—it was amazing!
