Don't Just Go to Tokyo and Kyoto for Cherry Blossoms! ๐ŸŒธ

Kanazawa | Please, Everyone, Don't Just Go to Tokyo and Kyoto for Cherry Blossoms! ๐ŸŒธ ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒธ This year's cherry blossom season has been quite extraordinary. ๐ŸŒง๏ธ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธFirst, due to a sudden drop in temperature, the cherry blossoms across Japan bloomed a week later than expected. As a result, visitors who came at the end of March could only see bare branches. ๐ŸŒฟ In early April, although the cherry blossoms finally bloomed, it coincided with the rainy season. ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒธ It was either raining or overcast almost every day. ๐ŸŒง๏ธ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ On the rare sunny Saturday, the major cherry blossom spots in Tokyo and Kyoto were immediately swarmed by tourists from all over the world. It felt like an international coalition of 800 nations had come to see the blossoms! ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒธ Yesterday, I went to Ueno for a meal, and it took much longer to walk around than usual. ๐ŸŒง๏ธ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐ŸŒง๏ธ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธHowever, I avoided the crowds and completed my hanami (cherry blossom viewing) in Kanazawa this year. ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒธFewer people and more beautiful flowersโ€”it was amazing! I highly recommend that in the future, when you come to Japan for cherry blossoms, don't just focus on the Kanto and Kansai regions! ๐ŸŒŸ #Kanazawa ๐ŸŒ‡๐ŸŒธ
