Don't miss Waddesdon Manor, folks!
I'm a huge fan of British castles and manors, having visited at least twenty or thirty of them, and recently, I went to Waddesdon Manor, which has successfully made it into my top 3 favorites! It's so incredibly beautiful and a real treasure! I'm begging you all to go and spread the word to the world!! π« Admission for the interior visit and the entire estate is Β£25.5 for adults. ποΈ Open Wednesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm; closed on Monday and Tuesday. π° Waddesdon Manor is a British country house located in the very posh Buckinghamshire. The chateau is in the Neo-Renaissance style and has nearly 150 years of history! πΊοΈ Be sure to visit the interior; it's grand and luxurious! The mansion exudes the history and artistic richness of old money British dramas, with 18th-century world-class furniture, frescoes, ceramics, jewelry, and antiques that will leave you dazzled. The Stables at the top right are not a must-see; it's optional. The Rose Garden at number 10 to the west wasn't in bloom when we visited last month, but it should be beautiful now that it's summer. π ΏοΈ The parking lot at the visitor center is free. If the weather is nice, I recommend walking to the castle, which takes about 20 minutes. Although there are no major attractions on the way, the natural atmosphere is very pleasant π²π³π. Of course, you can also buy a ticket for the shuttle bus to go back and forth. β° The interior visit takes a bit over an hour, and with some outdoor hiking based on personal preferences, the total visiting time is about 3 hours. The entire estate, especially the exterior of the castle, is incredibly spectacular and beautiful. Both the front and the back are so stunning that you'll want to take a thousand photos when you get close π·. #UK #UKLife #DayTripInUK #GreatBritishCastles #OxfordArea #LondonArea #LondonDayTrips #BritishCastles
