Drove 1.5 Hours for Chinese Food in Michigan — And It Was Worth It!

This weekend, my good friend Dan came back from New York, and together with my bestie lunawanggg, we took a road trip to Lansing — Michigan’s capital — to try what many call the best Chinese restaurant in the state 🏆🍴 I’ve been in Michigan for a while but never made the trip because it’s just so far 😂 But this time, Luna drove (thanks bestie! 🚗💖) and our handsome treatmaster paid for the meal — so much laughter and joy along the way! 🥳 The Sichuan food at Royal Pot Bistro was absolutely delicious — definitely the best Chinese food I’ve had in Michigan. 10/10 would drive again! ✅🌶️ Afterward, we grabbed some fruit tea and desserts nearby 🍵🍮… fully satisfied and happily stuffed! The weather was absolutely perfect — sunny, breezy, pure Michigan bliss 😌☀️ Then we headed back and stopped by an art exhibition in Birmingham 🖼️✨ I also highly recommend the newly opened Cafe Origins in Birmingham — their hand-pressed coffee is seriously the best I’ve ever had. You HAVE to try it! ☕❤️ Wishing everyone a joyful weekend! 😊 And real talk — the older I get, the simpler I become. I prefer peace, quiet, and enjoying my own company.
