This place quality has dropped since the last time I ate there. I had the hot pot thing and ordered a combo each from the sliced meat, vegetables, mushrooms, meat balls, and seafood.
I brought a friend and told him we'll be eating like kings. Boy do I regret bringing my friend to this disappointing experience it was his first time but not mine, so it went better for him but not me. I had great experiences here before but not this time.
So for the pro, the sliced meat, vegetables, and mushroom combo's were of good quality except for some of the mushrooms a few had the rubbery texture of just about ready to be thrown out instead of the crispyness of fresh ones, so I'll give them a pass on that because the rest of the mushrooms were fresh about a good 95% of them.
The Con, the meat ball and the seafood combo.... is what killed it for me. They weren't fresh they were frozen. Now I understand why frozen meat balls, but why would you served them to me frozen? They weren't even completely thawed. When I threw them in the pot the outside of Cooked while the inside were frozen. And omg the freaking sea food aren't fresh either, they're partially thawed while most of it was still frozen. Just dont order anything of seafood or meat ball here.
As for services, they didnt refill my drink at all while I was there. Then when I wanted to checkout i gave the guy my card but he didnt come back with my card!!! Even after I signed the reciept, I was waiting for the guy to bring back my card but he never did. It was the waitress who did because she found my card at the register and wondered who it belonged to. Moving on to packing the leftover since I had to get to work asap. The guy packed the vegetables and mushrooms but didnt pack up the broth. He just freaking disappeared, I couldn't wait for him for long but he never came back so I just grabbed them and straight up left with a five dollar tip and my respect to my former hot pot place.
I really did liked this place it was the place that i ntroduce many friends who have never had hot pot before. I should've of just left when I noticed they didnt have that tablet used to order stuff when I first...
Read moreI went yesterday for my lunch, was so excited to order a stirfry fish. I also wanna order some soup so I come in by myself sometimes kind of awkward because I’m the only one filipino at that moment. This was my second time but the first time was been a while and never seen filipino in that time also inside restaurant. But that don’t bother me if I like to have that food I always go and get them.
Yesterday was very disappointing, it was raining and I was mood for some soups, but also want to get my stir fry fish. I was settling there for atlest 10 minutes before somebody get my order and they told me that I can’t order both coz they don’t go together. The waiter said he will ask and did not come back for atlest another 10minutes when I start noticing that there were 6 full of tables already that just arrived and have their food in table already and all I had was still my drink. I waited for 20minutes atles and just told me that I cannot order both of the menu. For a reason that they can’t ho together coz they are totally different. If I was in wrong table they could change my table and I still can get my stir fry fish since it’s already cook when you order them. And the soup I need to cook it my self in the table. Whatever was this two dish don’t go together is so unbelievable that I can’t order both of them. I was telling him I will take home the stir fry fish and he still denying me to order my food. I was hungry and upset. And leave the place and went to Zhen Ramen and gril restaurant which is I always get great service and great food with really...
Read moreBe prepared to pay a lot of money for little food. We spent close to $100 and didn't even feel like we had a full dinner. They charge around $10 for each person's broth and $1 for a small bowl of rice. Both of those things should be complementary which they are at other hot pot restaurants given the fact that customers are being charged a whole lot already for everything that they would like to cook in the broth. The broth was very thick and super oily. The shrimp was not peeled... it still had the head and legs on. The meatballs were left whole... we had to use our hands to eat it because it's hard eating slippery meatballs with chopsticks. The napa cabbage was not chopped... We had to break the cabbage into pieces ourselves so we didn't even bother eating it. The tilapia was covered in flour which I don't think is necessary unless you are going to deep fry it. The mushrooms were so tiny that once you put them in the broth you won't find them again. The beef... not enough of it to justify the price. The place was empty and it was dinner time on a Saturday when we were there. I doubt that they get a lot of customers. We won't be...
