DTLA Rooftop Gem with Stunning Night Views | La Boucherie 🌃✨
La Boucherie is a French-inspired steakhouse in downtown LA with one of the best settings in the city. Dine with panoramic downtown views—feels like an escape from the urban hustle without leaving the center. We arrived around 7 PM (still light out), and the restaurant was almost empty—so quiet it made me wonder about the food at first. But the starters quickly won me over. Here are the standouts: 🫒 La Boucherie Select Caviar ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Served on crisp blinis with cream cheese and egg yolk. A rich, elegant bite—though the caviar alone can be a bit briny for some. 🥩 Dry-Aged Prime Beef Tartare ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Served in a halved bone marrow bone, with German mustard on the side. The beef is perfectly seasoned—even without the mustard, it’s delicious. 🍖 Lamb Double Porterhouse ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cooked medium, with mushrooms on the side. Crispy outside, tender inside, minimal gaminess. A bit tricky to carve, but the staff will help. 🥩 Star Light Select Meat Tasting ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Four cuts: A5 Wagyu, US Wagyu, New York Strip, Ribeye. US Wagyu was the best—juicy and flavorful. Ribeye was okay. A5 was rich (can be heavy). If ordering à la carte, go for US Wagyu or NY Strip. 💰 $200–300 per person 🅿️ Hotel valet from $17 📍 900 Wilshire Blvd fl 71, Los Angeles, CA 90017 #100RestaurantChallenge #FoodInspo #Steakhouse #DateNight#MichelinRecommendation #LAEats #VibeDining
