Duke’s Seafood – Lake Union: Seattle's Lakeside Seafood Delight
This was the most satisfying and relaxing dinner I had in Seattle. 📍 Duke’s Seafood – Lake Union Right by the lake, the outdoor patio lets you enjoy the sea breeze and watch the sunset while dining. 🌇 🍽️ We ordered their classic 3 Course Standard Dinner (perfect for one person too! Great value) + some additional dishes. 🥗 Sesame Salad : The sesame flavor is strong and the dressing is tangy and refreshing—definitely a palate-pleaser! 🌿 🍲 Soups : ✅ Lobster Chowder : A bit spicy with a thick, creamy texture—my top pick! 🦞 ⚠️ Clam Chowder : Creamy but a bit salty; I found it quite average. 🍜 🍴 Main Course : Dungeness Crab Cake 🦀✅ Highly recommended! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with generous chunks of crab meat—every bite is a delight! 🦀 🍝 Additional Main Courses : • ❌ Duke’s Favourite Pasta with Wild Salmon : The salmon was a bit overcooked and dry, though the pasta itself was decent. Not recommended. 🍝 • ⭕️ Coco Loco Prawns : Fried shrimp with a sweet and tangy sauce, giving it a unique Mexican twist. It's flavorful but not a must-try. 🍤 🦪 Surprise Recommendation : Oysters They were incredibly fresh! Clean ocean flavor, plump and juicy, with no fishy taste. A touch of lemon and sauce makes them perfect with white wine. ✔️✔️✔️ Highly recommended for oyster lovers! 🦪 🍷 Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc (New Zealand) : Crisp and fruity with balanced acidity—perfect for pairing with seafood! 🍷 After dinner, you can head straight to the nearby Gas Works Park for a stunning night view. Highly recommended! 🌃 📍 Duke’s Seafood – Lake Union 1111 Fairview Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109 #Seattle #SeattleFoodie #SeafoodRestaurant #FoodShare #USATravel #LakeUnion #SunsetDining #SeattleTravel #SeattleLife
