π Duke Weekend Getaway 05 | Charlotte Adventures π’
We checked out Carowinds, the largest amusement park in North Carolina β and it did NOT disappoint! πβ€οΈβπ₯ Drove about 2.5 hours from Durham to Charlotte β this park sits right on the border of NC and SC, packed with thrilling roller coasters perfect for adrenaline lovers! π’ The longest coaster ride lasts 3 minutes and 25 seconds, stretching across both states with an 80-degree near-vertical drop! π± My personal favorites: Fury 325 β intense, fast, unforgettable!Thunder Striker β smooth and wildly fun π₯° π‘ Pro Tip: The Fast Lane pass was totally worth it β some coasters had 75+ minute waits, but we skipped all the lines and rode over 10 rides in one day! π€© π Slingshot was a highlight! We launched into the sky right at sunset β the views were breathtaking! This is a separate paid experience: $20 per person, and they record the whole thing (video also $20). π We visited during the Halloween event β the park had 10+ themed haunted houses, spooky and super fun! By night, it turned into a mini festival with music, a performance around 10 PM, and even BLACKPINKβs βJumpβ blasting β we danced till we dropped! π We stayed till 11 PM β totally worth every second! π Carowinds 300 Carowinds Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28273 π° Cost Breakdown (Inside Park): Ticket: $65Fast Lane: $65Meal Plan: $27Photo Pass (All Day): $25Extra Food, Drinks & Games: ~$70 Tax Total: ~$260 per person #DukeLife #WeekendVibes #Carowinds #CharlotteTravel #RollerCoasterLover #HalloweenEvents #AdventureAwaits #NorthCarolina #AmusementPark #ThrillSeeker #StudentLife #TravelDuke #FunTimes #NCGetaway
