Durango, Colorado | A Peaceful Mountain Town 🏔️🛤️
Located in western Colorado, not far from the Northwest. It’s not as luxurious or polished as Aspen, and you won’t find many big brands here — but this little town gave me major Swiss Alps vibes! 🏡❄️ There’s even a scenic train that runs through the area. 🚂 🍴 French Restaurant: Jean Pierre So delicious! Highly recommend! 🇫🇷 I ordered the tuna sandwich and salad — you can choose between salad or fries with the set meal. My friend picked the fries, and they were amazing too! The salad dressing was a homemade balsamic vinaigrette — tangy, slightly sweet, with a hint of fish flavor (in a good way!). Really exceptional! I also got a latte, which was just okay. They also sell macarons and other French pastries 🥐🍮 — definitely worth a try! 🛒 Shopping No big luxury brands, but plenty of cute little shops! I especially enjoyed browsing postcards 📮 — no particular store stood out, but several had lovely options. Just wander around, and you’ll find something you like! I did splurge on a squishy toy from a toy store — $15 (about 150 RMB?? 😅) — but honestly, almost everything here is made in China. A perfect town for a relaxed stroll with family 👨👩👧👦, slow walks, and soaking in the quiet charm. #QuaintVillage #Colorado #Durango #EscapeTheCity #SlowTravel #ColorfulWorld #USATravel
