Durango, Colorado | A Peaceful Mountain Town ๐๏ธ๐ค๏ธ
Located in western Colorado, not far from the Northwest. Itโs not as luxurious or polished as Aspen, and you wonโt find many big brands here โ but this little town gave me major Swiss Alps vibes! ๐กโ๏ธ Thereโs even a scenic train that runs through the area. ๐ ๐ด French Restaurant: Jean Pierre So delicious! Highly recommend! ๐ซ๐ท I ordered the tuna sandwich and salad โ you can choose between salad or fries with the set meal. My friend picked the fries, and they were amazing too! The salad dressing was a homemade balsamic vinaigrette โ tangy, slightly sweet, with a hint of fish flavor (in a good way!). Really exceptional! I also got a latte, which was just okay. They also sell macarons and other French pastries ๐ฅ๐ฎ โ definitely worth a try! ๐ Shopping No big luxury brands, but plenty of cute little shops! I especially enjoyed browsing postcards ๐ฎ โ no particular store stood out, but several had lovely options. Just wander around, and youโll find something you like! I did splurge on a squishy toy from a toy store โ $15 (about 150 RMB?? ๐ ) โ but honestly, almost everything here is made in China. A perfect town for a relaxed stroll with family ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ, slow walks, and soaking in the quiet charm. #QuaintVillage #Colorado #Durango #EscapeTheCity #SlowTravel #ColorfulWorld #USATravel
