Savory > Sweet – The Joe Bagel (rosemary) was underwhelming, but the Sesame bagel? Pure magic. A century-old institution, so worth the visit! We went at 8 AM (no line), but by 9 AM, the queue stretched past the BMO next door. Took two sesame and All-Dressed bagels back to Toronto, but… they’re definitely best fresh. ☑️ La Fabrique de Bagel 📍 747 Rue du Square-Victoria, Local C120, Montreal Must-try: Avocado Salmon with Dill Spread (do not skip the dill spread!). Their bagels have a subtle sweetness and insane chew. One order (cut in half) is so filling, you’ll be stuffed after half. ☑️ Bbagels 📍 945 Mont-Royal Ave E, Montreal, Quebec H2J 1X3 Saving the best for last—BANANA HONEY sounds basic but BLEW MY MIND. Topped with lemon zest and rosemary to balance the sweetness, plus a slightly salty cream cheese spread. One bite = instant obsession.
