Eating & Exploring in New Orleans
We took the streetcar to the WWII Museum β tickets are super affordable, and you can ride round-trip within two hours! π These past few days have been all about seafood β enjoying endless oysters π¦ͺ and crawfish π¦ to our heart's content! Bourbon Street comes alive at night with vibrant nightlife, mostly bars and live music πΉπΆ. Overall, the French Quarter is fantastic β amazing food π and perfect for a laid-back stroll with a drink in hand while listening to jazz π·. π¨ Stay Recommendation: Homewood Suites β close to the French Quarter, plus the hotel serves breakfast! π½οΈ Restaurant Picks: Big EZ Seafood Bourbon House Snapperβs π₯’ Great Chinese Spot: Zhang Bistro β perfect when you need a break from seafood. Highly recommended! π πΊ Jazz Recommendation: Preservation Hall β best to book tickets online in advance. If you buy at the door, expect long linesβ¦ we waited over an hour but got lucky! π«β³ #ChristmasGetaway #NewOrleans #NOLASeafood #NOLAFoodie
