Eating Through 100 Boston Restaurants with My Boyfriend [40/100]
We walked in at 8 PM on a weekend—and the place was still packed! 🏃♀️ Ended up sitting at the bar, which turned out to be a great spot to watch the open kitchen vibe. 👀 Definitely felt like a local favorite: Google Maps rating of 4.5, everyone was well-dressed, and the atmosphere was intimate and classy without trying too hard. Not your typical social-media-hyped spot! What we ordered: 🦑 Calamari – Super fresh, lightly battered, not greasy at all. Really well-made! 🍝 Short Rib Lasagna – Rich, cheesy, deeply flavorful. The meat was tender and generous… though it got a liiittle heavy toward the end. 🍝 Paccheri Bolognese – Slightly tangy sauce with crispy breadcrumbs and roasted broccoli leaves. A surprising combo—and it worked! The pasta was perfectly al dente (just how I like it 😉). ☕️ Tiramisu – Bold, coffee-forward, and less sweet. Tasted authentically Italian—way closer to what I had in Italy than the version at Eataly. Served with espresso grounds on top… bitter with a hint of sweet. Loved it! Cozy, buzzing, and genuinely good. Would totally come back—maybe even make a res next time! 📍 782 Tremont St, Boston, MA 02118 #BostonEats #BostonFood #BostonItalian #MidaBoston #NorthAmericanLife #FoodDiary #DateNightBoston #PastaLover #RealFood #NoFilter
