El Paso | What Else Besides White Sands?

El Paso | What Else Besides White Sands? The answer is... not much. There’s also a cave park nearby, but we were in a hurry and didn’t go. We just wandered around downtown El Paso. 🏠 Magoffin Home State Historic Site This is the old mansion of a local wealthy family, now turned into a tourist attraction. The front yard landscape is beautiful 🏡. The interior is a bit old, but rich in details and quite stylish. It’s not large—you can finish touring in just tens of minutes. Other than that, there’s not much to see. Some graffiti walls didn’t feel worth a special trip. But there’s plenty of delicious food! A true paradise for meat lovers! 🍖🥩 🍽️ Rudy‘s Country Store and Bar-B-Q How can you come to Texas without trying barbecue? This is a famous BBQ spot in Texas. The slow-smoked brisket is a must-order—incredibly tender and juicy, truly amazing at first bite! 😋 The ribs are also a must. Everything else is great too; you won’t go wrong with anything here. 🍽️ West Texas Chophouse Also a barbecue restaurant. Overall pretty good, but after having Rudy’s, it didn’t feel as impressive. 🍽️ Los Cabos Seafood A Mexican-style restaurant. Generally good, but the tacos aren’t as good as Taconeta’s, and the grilled octopus falls a bit short compared to Cafe Central’s. 🍽️ Taconeta A fusion-style taco shop. The decor is fresh and cute 🍃, but the taste is excellent! The shrimp and mushroom tacos are fried—I think they suit Asian tastes well. The drinks are also super tasty! 🍹 🍽️ Cafe Central This is a fine dining restaurant. We picked it randomly after returning from White Sands. My favorite was the grilled octopus. Note: formal attire is required 👔. The guys in our group were wearing T-shirts and shorts that day, so we could only sit in the courtyard instead of going inside. But the atmosphere was still lovely! #FoodExploration#NewMexico#NewMexicoTravel#TexasFoodDiscovery#Texas#TexasFood#TexasBBQ#NorthAmericaTravel#MyFoodDiary#FoodLife#EatDrinkHaveFun#Travel#HiddenGems
