Enraku | Fresh Sashimi & Motsu Nabe in Fullerton 🍣🍲
Visited Fullerton over the weekend and tried Enraku, a spacious and atmospheric Japanese spot known for fresh sashimi and comforting nabe! Since returning from Tokyo, I’ve missed motsu nabe (beef intestine hot pot)—and they have it here! 🐟 Umi Sashimi Platter (24pc) – Chef’s selection included seared black cod (tender, smoky skin!), fatty salmon belly, sweet uni, and amaebi. A generous platter for around $60. 🍲 Motsu Nabe – If you like beef intestine, this is a must-try. The small intestine is chewy, the large intestine bursts with savory richness, and the broth—simmered with cabbage—is sweet and soothing. 🍣 Seasonal Sushi – We tried 3 pieces recommended by the staff. The fish was fresh, though the sushi rice leaned a bit acidic for my taste. I preferred the sashimi! 🍱 Bento Set – Choose 2 or 3 items. I went with teriyaki salmon and tempura—decent, filling, and around $15. 💡 Deals: 🍶 Sake/beer: 2nd bottle for $1 🍣 Sushi rolls: 2nd one 50% off 📍 Enraku 181 E Commonwealth Ave, Fullerton, CA 92832 #Enraku #FullertonEats #JapaneseFood #SashimiPlatter #MotsuNabe #OCFood #LAEats #IzakayaStyle #SushiLovers #HotPot #FoodDeals #EatLocal #OrangeCountyDining
