🗺️: Applewhite Picnic Area Labor Day weekend was packed—like, really packed! Look up—people everywhere 🧑🤝🧑👨👨👧👦 Look down—still people! 👫👨👩👧👧 We arrived at 9:50 AM, and all the grills near the creek were already taken. Luckily, we managed to grab a shaded picnic spot further back 🍃🔥 (And honestly—it was quieter than the crowded creek area with all the excited kids! 😅) By noon, the parking lot was completely full. Staff started controlling the entrance and turned new cars away 🚗🙅 The creek water was refreshingly cold ❄️💧 Under the shade of the trees, the temperature was perfect—a world away from the heat down in the city. It’s an ideal spot for a weekend splash and cool-down!
