Excellent Hotel – Just Wish the T Station Was Walkable! 🏨
Overall, the Hyatt Boston Harbor exceeded my expectations. I'm not sure why I was surprised—everything in Boston tends to be a step above! Some highlights from our stay included: Food and drinks at the bar 🍹 Skyline views and fire pit tables 🌆🔥 Complimentary bottled water at the front desk 💧 Friendly and helpful front desk staff 👏 Daily housekeeping with fresh towels 🧼 Extremely quiet rooms (even near the runway!) 🔇 Luxurious Pharmacopia bath amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, and lotion) 🧴 The only reasons this hotel didn’t earn a perfect 10/10: 1️⃣ Elevator issues during our stay. 2️⃣ Transportation challenges: I assumed the airport T station shuttle would be convenient for showing friends from North Carolina around. However, it involved waiting, multiple stops at the airport, and took longer than expected. The ferry was lovely 🛥️, but service to Long Wharf was infrequent and didn’t align with our schedule. Water taxis were surprisingly expensive 💸 ($15–20 per person). We ended up relying on Uber more than planned. If the hotel offered a dedicated water shuttle to downtown or a direct shuttle to the airport T station and back, I’d reconsider staying here when planning trips to the city. For true convenience, you really need to be on the other side of the water. That said, if transportation isn’t a dealbreaker for you, I’d 100% recommend this hotel. Also worth noting: the room rate made up for the extra Uber costs—every other waterfront/downtown hotel I checked was $150+ more per night! If only we could’ve walked to the train station—it would’ve saved us so much time and effort. 🚉 #HyattBostonHarbor #GreatStay #TransportationStruggles #BostonHotel #SkylineViews #QuietRooms #FriendlyStaff #HotelReview #TravelTips #UberLife
