Experience a Summer Art Night Next to a World Heritage Site in LA ✨

Come to Barnsdall Park for the Friday WINE TASTINGS Art Night this summer (I don’t actually drink—just here for the art vibes!). The preview featured my favorite bookstore, A Good Used Book, along with video exhibitions, music, and delicious food. And it definitely lived up to expectations! 😍 💡 - There weren’t too many booths at the art night, but what was there was small and exquisite! Each stall offered carefully curated items like secondhand books, handmade ceramics, zines, vintage vinyl records, experimental musical instruments, tote bags, and more. - My personal favorite was the handmade film exhibition hosted by LAMAG (the gallery inside Barnsdall Park) 🎥. From 2–5 PM, there was an outdoor workshop where you could create plant-based 16mm experimental films, hand-draw 16mm animations, and participate in tape loop sound experiments. From 6–9 PM, everyone’s creations were screened—it was both fascinating and beautiful! - Barnsdall Park is truly one of the best spots in Los Angeles to watch the sunset. The Hollyhock House inside the park is also LA’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site. The top lawn offers views of the observatory and the Hollywood Sign, and with live music from the Friday event, it was pure bliss. Every moment of life should shine bright! 🌇💫 🍷 Friends interested in Wine Tasting can search online to buy tickets (Silverlake Wine provides the drinks). If you’re not drinking and just want to enjoy the atmosphere, you can enter all areas except the tasting zone for free (including some lawn areas, vendor zones, and food truck areas). The Hollyhock House is part of the ticketed wine-tasting area. The event takes place every Friday from 5:30 PM to 8:45 PM. Parking is relatively easy to find before 7 PM. 🕰️ Next Friday, September 26, is the last event—don’t miss out, folks! 📍 Barnsdall Art Park: 4800 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles Let me know in the comments if you've been or what your favorite part was—I'd love to hear your experiences! 🎨❤️ #LookUpAtArt #ExhibitionVibes #LAArtExhibitions #LosAngeles #LifeInLA
