Experience in Toronto
Day 1 Set off from Richmond at 7:30 in the morning.๐ ๐It took about two hours to reach Hope Town, also known as the Wood - carving Town. It was a bit overcast that day. ๐ค๏ธ โThe whole town was shrouded in fog, looking quite ethereal and beautiful. โ ๏ธAfter having lunch in Hope, we originally planned to go to Manning Park to see ground squirrels. ๐๏ธ However, the mobile phone navigation lost signal on the way ๐, and we made a wrong turn, so we directly headed to Kelowna. Here, it should be noted โ ๏ธ that there is no mobile phone signal near Manning Park ๐ถ. ๐๐So it is recommended to input the route into the car navigation in advance or memorize the route.๐ ๐ป๐ปIn the afternoon, upon arriving in Kelowna, we first checked into the hotel, and then went to the seaside ๐๏ธin the downtown area. ๐๐ In the evening, we went to the wineries. Mission Hill seemed more upscale, but we were told that we needed to make an appointment for wine - tasting to enter the entire property. ๐ช Then we went to the nearby Quails' Gate. ๐ There are no restrictions here, and we could stroll around freely. It was also very beautiful for taking pictures.โฌ๏ธ There is a restaurant in the winery (reservation in advance).๐ก๐ Day 2 We rushed to the Kangroo Creek Farm early in the morning. โ๏ธ The ticket price on that day happened to be the first day of the high - peak season. ๐ฆ๏ธ ๐๐The four of us paid $30 more than yesterday . The opening time was also advanced to nine o'clock. I mainly went there to pet capybaras.๐๐ There were so many of them and they were very touchable. ๐๐ It is still recommended to come early in the morning โ๏ธโ๏ธwhen there are fewer people. After that, we headed to the nearby Penticton, the Peach Town, to take pictures with the big peach ๐. Their peach - flavored ice โ๏ธ- cream was incredibly delicious. It wasn't too sweet and had peach pulp in it. Highly recommended! ๐We happened to encounter an event in the town, and it felt like the whole town had come out for a fair. Next, cherry - picking was one of the must - visit destinations of this trip. โ We went to Steven's Farm in Osoyoos, which was recommended online. It was indeed a well - known popular place. ๐ฆ ๐ต๐ตThe parking lot at the entrance was full of cars. There were an enormous number of mosquitoes ๐ฆ. After picking for a while, I already had dozens of mosquito bites on my body. Big cherries seemed not easy to find, and it was also very hot. Since we were going back to our country in a few days, we didn't pick a lot. Yellow cherries were $4 per pound, and red cherries were $3๐ต per pound. At that time, due to the long journey, heat, and mosquitoes, I felt my stomach acid surging, and the cherries didn't seem that great. ๐๐ But after putting them in the fridge overnight, they became sweeter and tasted better the next day. There are many Fruit Stands along the way where you can buy cherries. ๐ The prices are probably similar, but they surely can't taste as good as the ones you pick yourself ๐. On the way back, we passed by Manning Park and navigated to Lightning Lake. There were ground squirrels everywhere. They were super cute. It was really like the "Whack - a - Mole" game, popping up here and there.๐ ๐๐ They stared at you eagerly, making sounds, waiting to be fed. The scenery by the lake was also very nice. It๐ฃ was a bit cold, so remember to wear an extra layer. ๐๏ธExperience of the tram self - driving tour: Our car had a decent range. We could charge it for about ten to fifteen minutes while having fun and dining. ๐๐ Almost every town has charging piles, but the charging speeds vary. ๐ณ๐น It would be more convenient if you drive a Tesla (more charging piles and faster charging speed).๐ #Toronto #CasaLoma
