Experience Review of These Two Los Angeles Hotels

šŸ›ļø 2025 Hyatt Stay Journey This year, I’m continuing my Hyatt stays šŸ’« and had the chance to visit Los Angeles, so I checked into two Hyatt hotels with totally different vibes. Here’s my quick take! šŸ‘‡ āø» šŸ“Hyatt Place Glendale / Los Angeles āœ”ļø Pros: • Great location—right downstairs are the Americana at Brand and Glendale Galleria šŸ›ļø, with plenty of dining and shopping options. Lots of Chinese, Thai, and Korean restaurants within walking distance. The area feels safe even at night! 🌃 • Stayed here mainly for convenience—the day after arriving at Burbank Airport, we headed to Universal Studios šŸŽ¢, and this spot helped save some driving time. • Rooms follow the classic Hyatt Place layout—small living area + bed—clean, functional, and comfortable. šŸ›‹ļø • Breakfast includes hot items! Options aren’t extensive, but it’s filling and it’s included in the room rate—can’t complain! šŸ³ā˜• āœ–ļø Cons: • Nothing super surprising—it’s a reliable, standardized experience. • Good for stacking nights šŸ“Š, but not the kind of place that makes you want to extend your stay. šŸ“Œ Summary: Perfect for business trips or purely for earning stay credits. The location is the biggest advantage—it’s comfortable and practical. šŸ‘ āø» šŸ“The Shay – A Destination by Hyatt (Culver City) āœ”ļø Pros: • Super stylish design šŸ§”ā€”both public spaces and rooms have personality. It’s a fresh, lifestyle-oriented vibe. Definitely stands out among typical North American hotels! • Located in Culver City—clean and safe area, right next to the metro station šŸš‡. You can reach Santa Monica Beach šŸ–ļø or Downtown LA in about 30 minutes. A few nice restaurants across the street, though choices are limited. Not a typical tourist zone, but the atmosphere is cool. • Especially convenient if you’re catching a flight—no need to take the highway; just 20 minutes via local streets! šŸš—āœˆļø • Service is about average for North America—friendly and adequate. āœ–ļø Cons: • Room rates aren’t cheap—better to use points if you can! šŸ’³ • Not a super efficient business hotel—more of an experience-driven stay. šŸ“Œ Summary: Not ideal for stacking nights, but great for a weekend staycation! It’s all about the vibe—feels like a mini Andaz mixed with Soho House vibes. šŸ„‚āœØ šŸ“Œ By the way—I’ve turned my passion for travel and hunting down deals into a side hustle! šŸŽ‰ I now offer personalized travel planning services, including customized hotel stays, tours, cruises, and more—all with nice discounts! DM me if you need help planning your next trip. šŸ˜‰ #HyattStay #HyattGlobalist #HotelExperience #LosAngelesStays #TravelPlanning #HyattPlace #TheShayHyatt #LodgingGuide #PointsTravel
