Explored 5 Major German Museums in One Day ✨
I spent an entire day exploring Berlin’s Museum Island—and it was totally worth it! 📜 I bought a 24-hour pass for €24, which lets you enter 6 out of 8 museums unlimitedly within 24 hours (entry allowed 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with the site closing at 6:00 PM). One of these “6 museums” is actually an artist’s exhibition that’s free, so the pass really covers 5 core museums. I originally thought someone like me—with little “artistic talent” (my only art-related hobbies are music and photography)—wouldn’t appreciate this kind of “high-brow art,” and that I’d finish in 2-3 hours. But I ended up staying from 10:00 AM all the way until 6:00 PM… time flew by! 📜 ✨Each museum showcases different types of exhibits. My favorite was the Alte Nationalgalerie (Old National Gallery), which focuses on sculptures and oil paintings. Not only were the exhibits breathtaking, but the building’s interior and exterior architecture are also incredibly beautiful—perfect for taking photos 📸. ✨After a full day of exploring, I headed back to my hotel area. When I looked up, I was surprised by how gorgeous the sunset was—I quickly grabbed my phone to snap a photo, haha! Last but not least, a little rant: For lunch, I had “Western-style food” (basic, plain meals) plus a 10% tip, coming to €22.5 per person. By evening, I was too tired to hunt for a restaurant, so I went to McDonald’s. It cost less than €10 per person, and no tip needed—McDonald’s, you’re a lifesaver 🍟! #EuropeTravel #GermanyTravel #ArtAppreciation #MuseumExploration #HistoryAndArt
