Exploring Korean Cuisine in Dallas: Tofu King ❤️ New Store in Plano
😂I used to frequent Korean restaurants in Carrollton, but I’ve grown a bit tired of the heavy flavors, and it’s just too far to drive. Recently, I saw that a new Korean restaurant called Tofu King opened in Plano, and since it’s not too crowded yet, I decided to give it a try. Korean Tofu King 1861 N Central Expy #125, Plano, TX 75075 We ordered some dishes that were a bit different from what other people usually get, mainly because I’m not a fan of cheese, especially when it’s piled on top of meat. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Their Most Popular Beef Stew Pot This is their signature dish, and we couldn’t resist ordering it. We went for the soy sauce-flavored beef stew. If you want to add cheese, it’s an extra $6. There’s also a sweet and spicy Korean-style option. 💯The dish is described as enough for two people, priced at $61.99. But honestly, if you order just a little bit more, it’s more than enough for two. It’s quite filling! The stew is packed with tender, flavorful beef, along with carrots, potatoes, and radishes. It’s a bit salty on its own, but it pairs perfectly with white rice, which comes with the dish (two servings). The meat is abundant and cooked to perfection—soft and full of flavor. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Spicy Beef Head Soup Rice Bowl I’ve never tried beef head before, and they offer both spicy and non-spicy versions of their beef head soup. I went for the spicy one, and it was quite good—not overly spicy. The best part is that it’s not too salty, so you can really taste the freshness. There’s plenty of beef head meat, which is very tender and delicious. The white rice is served separately, so you can mix it into the soup to make a rice bowl or enjoy the soup as a main dish with rice on the side. #DallasLife #LifeInNorthAmerica #DallasEats #RestaurantRecommendation #KoreanFoodInDallas
